In 2025 the Melbourne Scottish Fiddlers celebrate their 30th Anniversary. They head off on a 3-week tour of eastern Canada in July: Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Quebec!

Come and join us at St Phillips in Abbotsford for an evening of music. We’ll be performing the music we’re taking over with us to Canada for our family and friends of the fiddle club, old and new!

All proceeds from the concert will go to supporting the 44 fiddlers going on tour.

Tea, coffee and light refreshments will be served for “gold coin” donation. Raffle with great prizes too!

Why are we going to Canada? 

- why not?!
- eastern Canada is steeped in Scottish traditional music and culture, with centuries of migration of Scottish people to eastern provinces since the 18th century
- Nova Scotia and PEI have rich living traditions of Scottish music, dance, culture and Gaelic (Gaidhlig) language
- we are massive officionados of quebecois and Acadian music - traditions borne by our French cousins
