Multi award-winning, favourites at folk festivals across the country, you can hear them right here in Creswick's grand old Town Hall.
Playing tunes and singing together for nearly 3 decades, the (famous) Melbourne Scottish Fiddle Club manages to keep renewing itself, with the recruitment of ever younger players, who bring with them energy, passion and an adventurous approach to an ancient tradition.
Come hear them, and support their efforts to raise funds to take a group of 30 players to Nova Scotia and beyond. Canada has long been an inspiration for fiddlers around the world, and now its the turn of this legendary Australian group - flourishing in our own backyard - to make the trip. In 2025 they turn 30, and proving that their outlook is younger than ever, they are determined to take on the world.

See the famous MSFC live in concert! Joined by local luminaries Neil Adam and Judy Turner of Mungo Park Music, and dynamite duo Mickey and Michelle.
Family Ceilidh Dance 7:30pm til late!

The concert will be followed by a break for dinner in one of Creswick's fantastic cafes or pubs, then right back into it with the Untamed Ceilidh!
This is a FAMILY FRIENDLY, all ages Scottish Ceilidh Dance where you get to dance the night away, old style, with a teacher and the same live band. Gather a few friends or come along by yourself – it’s all about enjoying an energetic, fun night of ceilidh dancing. You don't have to know how, just follow the person in front!
The Melbourne Scottish Fiddle Club will bring the mighty fiddle vibes and our fabulous dance caller who will guide you through each dance. Some of these may be familiar, like the Strip the Willow or the Circassian Circle. They are all learnable and great fun.
